CONTACT LENSES

TYPES OF CONTACT LENSES

For most patients contact lenses can be used to correct vision. There are many kinds of contact lenses, including a variety of soft contact lenses and rigid gas permeable lenses. A contact lens fitting exam is used to determine the best contact lens options for each patient desiring contacts.

CONTACT LENS FITTING EXAMS

Contact lenses are medical devices that require regular care and patient compliance. It is important to be evaluated every year, even for "cosmetic lenses" to ensure the lenses are properly fitting and not causing any harm to the eyes. The best way to avoid vision-threatening contact lens complications, is to properly care for and replace your lenses as instructed by your eye doctor.

Each of our optometrists strives to ensure the most appropriate contact lens fit in order to provide the best vision and eye health.
